I picked up a copy of Company of Heroes for the PC today. I traded in a couple of old games and there was an additional discount on new games (EB struggling for sales of PC games?). I'm installing it now, so hopefully once the little one falls asleep I'll be able to try it out. :)

The game looks pretty good. How are you getting on with it?

I just bought "Call Of Duty 3" for my Xbox360 and it's an amazing game. Graphics and sound are just awesome (truly cinematic). I came away from my first go with the game feeling shell shocked and exhausted like I'd been through the actual war myself.

I haven't played it for a week but I managed several hours solid gaming just after I got it.

I really enjoyed it - there are times I long for more realism, but overall it's a great game.

I always find RTSs difficult due to the micromanagement required, but on the whole this one isn't too bad. I do get lost sometimes with the number of units to look after but I usually can keep a handle on things.

If you can, I recommend playing it. I don't know if it's out for the 360 though. It does need a mouse due to all the clicking.

Apparently Call of Duty 3 isn't going to be released for the PC. I haven't played COD2 yet, and I'm not sure I will. Maybe I'll pick up a used XBox360 in, oh, five years!
